PlaceCavo Greco, CyprusDate1995ConceptIt is a project that was fulfilled within the limits of an inward search dealing with matters of Locus, History, Myth, Poetry, and the Metaphysical dimension of reality. The result was a land-art project in the landscape of cape Greco in Cyprus where a sequence of spatial elements represents my poetic interpretation of the local history.
The goal of the intervention was to create a narrative that a spectator, following a course applied on the natural geometry of the landscape, would experience an atmosphere of the tragic sense of history. The experience of the narrative through theatrical spaces finally leads to a subconscious katharsis, a process similar to the process of ancient Greek theatre.
